Gerard V. Kassabian is an associate attorney at Astor & Phillips, joining the firm in 2006. Mr. Kassabian's practice focuses on estate planning, real estate, business law, and related litigation matters.
Mr. Kassabian earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law in 2002 and Juris Doctor degree from the Southwestern University School of Law in 2001, where he served as an associate editor of the Southwestern University Law Review. During law school, he served as judicial extern to Judge Dickran M. Tevrizian of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and judicial extern to Judge Kathleen T. Lax of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. Prior to law school, he earned dual-degrees from the University of Southern California in Business Finance with emphasis in Real Estate and Political Science. Mr. Kassabian is fluent in Armenian and conversational in Spanish and French.
Mr. Kassabian is a founding board member of the West Hollywood Sheriff's Boosters Club, a non-profit organization, and a supporter of other grass roots organizations. His personal interests include fine dining and collection and restoration of modern-classic wrist watches and European automobiles.
