Lya Kingsland has been an attorney with Astor & Phillips since 1989, developing her expertise in estate planning, probate and trust administration for both modest and high wealth clients. An extensive portion of her legal practice includes tax matters and the preparation of estate tax returns, as well as individual, corporation and fiduciary returns.
In addition to the general business concerns of corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships, Ms. Kingsland oversees the finances of the California Refuse Removal Council Southern District and the Los Angeles County Waste Management Association, and the political action committees of these and other trade associations in the solid waste and recycling industry.
